Semen Analysis

Sperm Morphology

Surgical Sperm Retrievals

The most common minimally invasive manner in which sperm is aspirated from the testicular tissue into the ejaculate via a needle, used for cases of low sperm production or obstructed sperm pathways.

Testicular Sperm Extraction (TESE) The name of a procedure that involves the removal of sperm from the testicles and implantation into the patient or other female to fertilize her eggs and create embryos. It is a surgical technique, for example, to extract sperm from tiny samples of testicular tissue in men with non-obstructive azoospermia or low sperm production.

Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (PESA)
In a method commonly used in instances in which transport of the sperm out of the epididimis is blocked or the vas deferens is absent, the sperm is aspirated from the epididimis by means of a fine needle.
